Antique 19th century wool striped skirt, dating to the 1850s-1880s. Purple base with rust brown/red and grey striped detailing. Original striped indigo waistband. Pleated reverse with straight front, black piped detailing around base with black trim on hem. Side fastening with two hook and eyes to close on waistband.

Condition: In used condition with wear, some holes and repairs to the surface of the wool, marking to the skirt fabric and some areas of missing trim on hem.
