Antique Vintage 1930s Striped Cotton Biaude Smock
French striped cotton biaude smock, later than the typical indigo linen biaudes and not indigo dyed, this one is from Brittany and dates to around the 1930s.
Simple construction, gathered around the collar, shoulders and cuffs, button and loop collar, no pockets, but with side vents.
Oversized, varied fit garment but the measurements are:
23” shoulder seam to seam, 21’ shoulder seam to cuff, 36” all the way across the chest and 33” length.
Condition:
Some repairs on one arm, a few other imperfections and a few minor marks.
