1940s French faded blue cotton chore jacket, large round collar with three pocket front and one interior pocket. Early compressed card buttons on front with a few replacements.
Measurements:
Shoulder to shoulder: 20”
Armpit to armpit: 23”
Shoulder to cuff: 24”
Overall length down the back from neck to hem: 28”
Condition: Faded and worn with signs of use throughout, paintmarks and darning on jacket front. A few period replaced buttons with wear to compressed card buttons. At one point sleeves were turned up with a dark cotton line now visible on each sleeve.
