1930s 40s French black wool dress with multicoloured embroidered pattern throughout. Sleeve trim and hip pocket crepe coloured detailing and tie back with purple and red backing on opposing sides. Hip pockets are stitched shut, possibly because the dress was made and never worn. Single popper fasten at the neck. both sides open at the waist and tie closed with rear tie. Gathered shoulder front.
