Triangular French mirror, circa 1890. Pitch pine frame with an ebonised band running through. Heavy weight mercury plate with nice patina throughout. The upwards facing sides are slightly longer than the horizontal, giving the mirror a slightly elongated upwards trajectory.
Condition: Some foxing and patina on the plate. There is no backing on the mirror where there was perhaps once, which doesn’t impact the appearance or function. Nicely aged wooden frame, with a slight loss near the top point on one side.
Measures 48cm across with 49cm upwards sides.
